Quill's local MCP server allows you to connect your meeting data with various AI assistants and agents running on your computer. This integration opens up powerful possibilities for meeting analysis, preparation, follow-up, and sophisticated automations.

Setting Up the Connection
- Open the Quill desktop app
- Navigate to Settings
- Find the MCP Server option
- Toggle it ON if it's currently off
Connection Methods
You can connect Quill to AI assistants in two ways:
- Direct installation into supported apps (Cloud Desktop, Cloud Code, Cursor, etc.)
- Manual configuration using either:
- stdio configuration through a local socket
- HTTP server (needs to be enabled)
Installing the Extension
For supported applications like Cloud Desktop:
- Click "Install Extension" in Quill
- You'll be redirected to the application
- Click "Install" in the destination app
- Close the window once installation is complete
What You Can Do
Once connected, your AI assistant can:
- Access your meeting data when you ask questions
- Prepare you for upcoming meetings
- Analyze your entire month of meetings
- Provide a breakdown of how you spend your time
- Identify important projects discussed in meetings
- Give feedback on your meeting participation
- Help with bug fixes mentioned in customer conversations
- Anything else you can imagine
